lucky

just wanted you to know that i am a lucky girl. for one, my husband is awesome. i went to a conference at my church today (which was so amazing and wonderful) and my sweetheart spent his day off working at my shop so that i could attend. and, it was a glorious day: mid 60s and sunny. plus, our son had to stay with him the whole time. afterwards, they went grocery shopping and then matt made steak with lump crab as a topping with salad on the side. i know, he's basically perfect.
and also, kimberly from kimberellie listed me as her blog obsession! i am just so flattered that she would do that for me. she is a lovely lady and very hip mom. she's also put together a list of blogs by other hip moms (which i am also very happy to be a part of) on her blog. go and check them out when you get the chance.
you guys were terribly kind to me with your comments from yesterday. it made me feel so great! you have no idea.
i am so very fortunate in my life. i have been given some pretty wonderful things. and i really want you all to know that i am truly a very lucky girl.

Sounds like a heavenly day. I'm sure you were wearing an equally heavenly outfit, too. :)

Now that I see this all happened today, and that this is what you were wearing, I'd like to amend my previous comment to "You WERE wearing an equally heavenly outfit."

Ooo, you are WELCOME! Your blog totally rocks (as you know, I am obsessed-publicly obsessed at that). Your husband sounds awesome like my husband. Isn't it nice to have an awesome husband?

As for the outfit: I love it. The blue skirt and the browns: so perfect.
