ramblings, wrinkles, and rides

boots
when i was getting dressed yesterday to go to my shop, i was immediately drawn to these jeans (AGAIN). and i thought to myself, 'what could make them look a little different? EUREKA,' i exclaimed, 'i could leave them unrolled! but if they are so long i must have shoes tall enough to keep them from dragging the ground and getting that yucky cold wet seepage all up the back of my leg.' so that's how i came to wear boots with jeans, i'm not an actual cowgirl (although i bet you were wondering where my horse was)(april fools, it's in the parking lot!)(april fools again, i don't ride a horse). the seriously wrinkled shirt is on account of LAZINESS. i blame it on the rain. not only because that is a great song (circa milli vanilli) but also because rain makes me not care about such things.

and guess what............................................i'm getting a new car today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and of course by 'new' i mean one that's even older than pauli girl. matt is picking up a beautiful white 1983 mercedes 300d this afternoon. i'm fairly beside myself with joy. it's been a LOOOOOONG few weeks as a one car family. can't wait to show pictures! and give her a name so she feels like part of the family :)

OH can't wait to see your new old car! I know how you feel about wrinkles...I have a hard time motivating myself to iron even on sunny days! haha...there's just no use in me trying on a dreary day.

I'll say it again...can't wait to see the car!!!

Those jeans are perfect on you and I LOVE your bag! Congrats on the car! I had a gold 1981 300D when I was 16 and it was the best car ever! It was a boat, but I loved it! I named mine "Sadie" because well, you know, Mercedes.

firstly, your wrinkled shirt looks totally purposeful :) it works! and your bag!! ah! amazing. esp with those wideleg jeans.

my boyfriend had an old diesel mercedes for a while and i miss it... it had that great old car smell and looked so damn sexy on the road! :)

oooh, congrats on the new car! the wet-pant-syndrome is one of my biggest pet peeves. i can't freaking stand when i see someone schlepping around with long pants dragging on the disgusting wet sidewalk. it makes me shiver. *shiver*.

i can't believe this shirt is GAP - i definitely thought it was circa 70's vintage. super cute!
