canadian tuxedo

dd
no offense to my sisters to the north. i love you girls. it's just a funny saying :)
and if you think about it, i have no room to talk. i'm the one posing by the abandoned shopping cart.
i know that for a while double denim was all the rage. heck, i even tried it a few times before. but i'm not one to lay an aging fashion trend to rest, especially before it has been properly done to death. for some reason, i just wanted to give it another go. and you know what? i LOVED it. even more than before. ladies, you may see this again.
and boy howdy am i obsessed with this bag. one of these days i'm going to do a 'what's in my bag' post so you can see just how much crap i can stuff inside. it's like the clown car of bags. seriously.

This is a great outfit... It looks so comfy.

BTW I love your hair. You probably wish it was straight - you know, "you always want what you don't have". Mine is stick straight and will not hold a curl/wave for more than 2 seconds.

yup, i'm in love. the double-denim look is fantastic and the yellow accents are PERFECT. i remember last year when chambray was just coming in to style i bookmarked an entire collection (can't remember which one, i'm so bad) because of one particularly awesome outfit involving a chambray shirt and yellow scarf. anyway, love it!

double denim makes me so happy! i love the pop of orange the bag and belt give to warm the outfit up.

I also love that you always wear that bag, i feel like i'm forever wearing a tote or my coach purse, real life!

Bwahahaha. I always called it the Texas Tuxedo. My dad has been wearing double denim for years, and I always gave him crap about it, so when he saw the fashion pages of his local newspaper calling it a trend, he send me the newspaper clipping to rub it in. :)

that bag is just wonderful.

There's something about Canadian fashion that I love so much. I love their shoes and suits like tuxedos.
