good friday

good friday
the weather has been such a drag lately. it's been sunny and warm one minute and literally hailing golfballs the next. and rain, rain, rain...........but i'm the one who asked for spring, right? booooooooooo!
but today is good friday! which in one way, it's a very somber and reflective holiday. but then, for me, it's the promise of what happened on sunday morning 2000 years ago. i do most definitely celebrate easter sunday :)
but we do have a busy weekend ahead of us. we're going to visit friends tonight, spending time with my family tomorrow, and going to a birthday party saturday night, and of course church on sunday. busy, but super fun. and i even have a cute 70s sundress for easter. if the weather cooperates, sheesh!

You look too cute. Those pans are just awesome. And yes, the weather has been fickle here too...it's only warm when it is sunny. So when the clouds cover the sun: brrrrr. Excited to see your sun dress!

And yes, happy Easter!

Yes friend, it is important to celebrate what happened 2000 years ago this Sunday. I mean, of course we celebrate, have family over, have an extra service but I need to think about why more, you know?

i absolutely love this color combo! looks great with your skin tone. i am convinced you could make a potato sack look fabulous! :)
happy easter to you and your family! and i definitely agree that we have so much to be thankful for despite the events that took place long ago. it was (is) a beautiful tragedy!
