song of the day: 'i think we're alone now' by tiffany
i love that episode of full house when dj and stephanie want to watch tiffany live from tokyo but their dad doesn't want them to. well, they get uncle joey to let them stay up late and watch. in the middle of doing some rad dance moves, dad comes home and uncle joey says 'don't think we're alone now.' that there was some good tv.
this dress is a long skirt that was in my shop for a while and no one picked it up. it's a bit too big for me to wear at my waist but as i was looking at it the other day, i realized that it may fit me as a dress. whammo! it fits. and it works quite well with the gorgeous scarf i got from merl when i got my fabulous clyde's rebirth harness! some things just come together. well all except the weather. not too long after this pic was taken, the heavens opened up and the rain came down, in torrents. you can't win them all.

I am really digging the boots and that scarf go magically with the whole ensemble.

Your 'dress' is lovely. It seems so fitting for summer, and the color in the scarf really dresses it up.
It's fun seeing how you wear those boots with different outfits. I have them in black, but they've always seemed difficult to me. You give me hope for them.

I LOVE that episode of Full House! Well, to be fair, I love most episodes of that show.

You look really pretty, I love this look on you! You could wear long dresses any day of the week!

Oh wow. A Tiffany and a Full House reference in one post. That rocks! I used to love Full House. Stefanie and I were the same age so I sort of grew up with her.

Whoa that is actually a skirt? You must be skinny! It's definitely a great way to mix it up, when a skirt just doesn't work as a skirt... wear it as a dress!!! The scarf definitely adds a pow to the whole effect. You look very boho chic, I love it! :)

I love your blog more and more all the time. Those shoes and the scarf are fab.

And the post title/that song cracked me up. I can't tell you how happy it makes me that you referenced Full House. What a fantastic show that was. (Fantastic is used rather loosely, though.)

This is one of my all-time favorites!!!! I saw this on Chictopia first a few days ago and was blown away (even more than normal when you post your outfits)! Totally digging how you accessorize with scarves too :)
