song of the day: ' the safety dance' by men without hats
this is such an awesome song! for some reason i use lines from it all the time. isaiah likes to dance and and play around and i'll just tell him 'we can dance if we want to.' i don't know, maybe that's only funny to me.
i bought this dress in louisiana from a salvation army. it was once longer and i cut it maybe a touch too short. then i had to hem it and there goes another inch. yikes! oh well. i tried to compensate for the short hemline with the flat shoes. i think it worked out okay. and since it's linen the thing got so wrinkly! i kinda look a mess in the pictures. man, two strikes against this dress but i'm still wearing it. i like the sleeves. i have a thing for cool sleeves, you know. and i think the color makes me look tan.

isn't my clutch totally awesome?! i buy vintage clothes from people who bring them in my shop sometimes and a lady brought this macrame clutch in and immediately knew i couldn't sell it! it's in amazing condition love me some 70s goodness. all right kids, busy day. sees ya later!

this neutral beige colored dress is BEAUTIFUL! i didn't even notice it was wrinkled until you pointed it out - i think it's a testament to how great your photos are!

The color does make you look really tan, it's great for you! I'm usually not a sleeves person, but those sleeves on the dress are unique and pretty cute :]

I do not blame you one bit for keeping that clutch. It's way too amazing!

The clutch is awesome. The dress didn't seem too short to me--it's lovely. And linen is SUPPOSED to be wrinkly. I swear it!

LOVE LOVE LOVE that song.

Wow, I was not expecting the flat oxford with this, but the style, the color- everything is just so perfect with that dress.

I love the two-toned brown, and shally try my hardest not to rip it off. Immediately. :)
