these photos look disgustingly spring-like, don't they? i assure you it was pretty chilly. anyway, this was all the way back on sunday and it is MOST unspringy today. if that makes you feel any better :)
yesterday, a friend of mine came into the store to do some shopping. she's a rather cool girl and if i had brought my camera, i would have taken her picture. alas, that will have to be for another day. but she came in and was able to try on a bunch of different things and create outfits and try new layering tricks and stuff. we had a great time chatting about life and clothes, plus it was fun helping her pick some pieces to buy for spring. i just love that. that's my favorite part of owning this shop. i get to see people have fun with fashion and try new ideas and then buy something that they feel good in. i like that my customers are comfortable asking my opinion about things. i'm not really a 'people' person, but i really do cherish those connections. and that's the best part of my job.
