this is one of my very favorite photo shoots EVER. i don't know. maybe it IS my favorite one. i think it's interesting, lisa talked about her outfit from this night as being her favorite on her blog. and i think that showed in her photos. you know when you're absolutely 100% comfortable, it makes you look better? i don't wanna sound conceited (i'm really like the farthest person from that. i have horrible image issues) but i really love the way i look in these pictures. and i think it comes mostly from being myself (of course merl's amazing photography skillzzzz may have a wee bit to do with it :)
this is from sunday night after the TxSCC conference. as i mentioned in my post from yesterday, sunday was a bit breezy. i had been cold all day and knew that all i really wanted to do was be warm. merl, emily, lisa and i drove back to our little rental apartment to freshen up for the party that night and we all ended up changing. at first i felt bad for wanting to pull on jeans (busted up and a few sizes too big jeans, notwithstanding), but i was so happy that i did. i hadn't been that at ease all weekend. and i think it shows :)
it's so funny. no amount of fashion can compare with comfort.......and great photography!
oh, and thank you all for your friendship through this blog. i've been feeling very blessed as of late :)
