song of the day: 'autumn leaves' by nat king cole
i drove by this tree and thought the color was so beautiful against the clear blue autumn sky. it was just brilliant! the pretty fall leaves are a little hit or miss at this time of year, a lot of them have already fallen and made the trees bare, but there are still some lovely spots in town. i'm trying to capture them before it's gone for the season. i feel like i'm just getting into fall and i know it won't last much longer. especially with the time change. i'm so not ready for the bitterness of winter. hopefully it won't be too cold this year. although, i always get excited for the first snow!
i want to thank all of you who are taking the pledge with me! please spread the word so we can all make a difference. and remember, if you leave me a comment on my original post, you'll be entered into the giveaway next monday!!!

first off, i want to rip those shoes off your feet!!! i've been looking for the perfect pair of moccs this season. sweater = awesome!

the trees are soooo beautiful!!! i know what you mean about fall...i am trying to savor every minute of it, but today its almost 70, and i am sure snow is not far behind. the first snow is definitely the most exciting! and, snowfall on xmas is a big plus!

I'm so into your high-waited skinny jeans. Which topshop ones are they? I can't deal with the ones that have three buttons on the top, but yours seem perfect!

the arrangement of the photos--to increasingly vivid colors is wonderful.
