a list

6.14
just a few fun things about today:
i ran this morning.
my realtor showed our house (yay!!)
but then i couldn't shower because of house showing.
i went to the farmers market and bought more tasty lettuce.
took a lightning fast shower sans hair washing and leg shaving.
was very late to open the shop :(
wore a skirt the first half of the day.
hated it, so went home to change and go to the post office.
took pics.
edited them.
realized i wear blue striped shirts about once a week and that i wore this particular one just this past saturday.
then decided that trying too hard was just too hard.
happy that cut-offs and striped shirts are perfect on a hot summer day :)

Don't get me wrong, I love my cutoffs. But yours are so fitted. I covet them. Forgive me?

I just recently came across your blog and it's great. Nice, effortless style and I love your hair. Mine is pretty similar, but I have to ask, how do you keep yours from getting frizzy? Do tell!

Yeah for not trying too hard and for fresh lettuce. Good luck on showing the place.

I like that you said that, "sometimes trying too hard is just too hard", I feel the same. I love this outfit and I think you look amazing! It's always better to be comfortable and happy and that's that makes you shine..not always the clothes :)

This completely cracked me up.

I owned a shop in my really small hometown, often i would wake up a little past when i needed to, or get behind running errands and open the shop late. I also would often have to leave to run to the post office (to ship an etsy item) and maybe make a costume change. I don't know about you, but one of my biggest problems I ran into with being the soul owner and worker at my store was that it left me with very little time to shop for new items (usually because of thrift store hours, i'd have to just take an hour lunch and shop instead!) Anyway, you're adorable, have easy breezy style, and talk simply about things that are cozy and real. I like it a lot.
