song of the day: 'wake up' by alanis morissette
here's more photos from our walk in 2 feet of snow. when isaiah and i first stepped outside, we started laughing so hard because we couldn't believe how deep it was!
pauli girl covered in her wintry cocoon. when the plows came through i was almost afraid they would mistake her for a pile of snow and try to remove her. thankfully she weathered the storm well, and we dug her out yesterday. today, she hits the road again.
matt's dad bought him a lucha libre mask from the florida state fair. we love the movie nacho libre. now we just need to get him some stretchy pants and we'll be good to go.
my cold little luchador :)
this is casey. he and his wife were both carrying 5 gallon glass carboys through town because he ran out of fermentation space. now that is a dedicated brewmaster. he trekked through the snow, to a friend's house to borrow these for his beer. sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do.
a pretty former church up the road. it's now split up into apartments. it's such a gorgeous building. i love all the gothic arches and other architectural details.
we were all very tired and cold after our little walk. i think snow is much better enjoyed from the sofa, under a blanket, with a hot cup of coffee in hand. now, when's spring????

Ah man, I want to live in an old church!!
i cannot believe how much snow you're getting!! you put us vermonters to shame :)
i love when old buildings are repurposed into apartments (like YOUR house, which is amazing). i think it would be so cool to live in an old church--those epic windows!
These are so cute! I love the area you live in, it looks so fun! That's neat that they converted a church into apartments...I bet it's a pretty place to live.
WOOO spring! Not too much longer I hope :)
haha that mask hat thing is amazing. I love the old church too. it is gorgeous. A shame it isn't used any longer. That would be a really cool place to live too. Looks like you all had so much fun in the snow.

that picture of the church is gorgeous! i can't believe you guys got so much snow down south, that's more than we currently have on the ground.
I want to live in that church!! That is so cool!! Anyways, I'm glad to see you guys are braving the snow alright. I'd be going bananas, but it looks like fun, none-the-less.
I'd love to see the interior of some of those "church" apartments.
I love all these family pics you have been posting! And WOW to the church...so would love to live there!
yes - spring - now. please!
Ok that's partially a lie. I need to hit up the mountains a few more times. THEN spring!
Snow is fun though- when you are prepared ;)
Can you believe there's only a week and a half left till we all hang out IN REAL LIFE. oh em gee.
