it was a very good year

the other day i showed you some of the outfits that didn't make the cut, and today i'd like to share some of my favorite ones of the last year. i tried to put them in order of original appearance, but it's possible that they are a little out of order. i didn't do a very good job of narrowing them down (there are A LOT), but i figure you only have a first blogiversary once, so what the heck!
but in looking over them, i've been able to pick out a recurring theme. whether it's the way i've styled my outfits or certain pieces that keep coming up (ie my brown tall boots, my locket, brown belt, striped shirt), i kinda like the fact that while a lot has changed over the year, not much has changed, ya know? all in all, i'd say it was a very good year :)

Holy cats! I didn't realize your hair used to be that long :) Must've been before I found your blog.

These outfits are adorable in their own unique way, but I find myself especially drawn to the last two. Just beautiful!

Totally smitten with that 2nd picture! I too, didn't realize your hair was that long once upon a time...
nonetheless, you are an abundance of inspiration!

I pretty much love all of your outfits, but perhaps my favorite all time has to be the one of you wearing the green sweater. It's such a pretty color and the cognac accessories just made it look so pulled together.

I think that last photo might be my favourite at the moment...it's 20 below zero here, so I'm just loving the flowy, spring-y look of your outfit and location :)

Love all the shorts. I guess I am newer to your blog because I don't recall ever seeing your hair that straight. It's not that I don't like it, it's just that I love the curls and the volume. Love the recap.

Love the yellow skirt, but I never knew I needed pink shorts! Haha.

A really great roster, I really enjoy your point of view :)

I love how you mix vintage and modern accesories. I believe my favorite is the 3rd and 13th picture! Congrats on your blogiversary!

These are all great--I can't pick a favorite. I seem to be drawn to the ones with stripes or dots. Or bright colors. See what I mean, I can't pick! Happy blogaversary!

lady, you have such a knack for making the most neutral colors pop. i love that fourth picture down, and your little yellow raincoat.

Wow, those 1st two pics don't look like you! Maybe your sister, but seriously, I can't believe that longer, straighter hair makes you look so different!

I see a recurring theme here and I think I would like to quote a classic in true amanda fashion.
