song of the day: 'lady in red' by chris de burgh
k, so i bought this blazer the other day whilst perusing the local salvation army. loves it! i don't even like red that much, but this is too good. i had to rip out the shoulder pads though. made me look like a linebacker. not what i was going for. my legs are big enough to make me resemble some sort of football player. so back to the blazer, it's super cool.
last night i went to the first meeting of the 'bridges to wellness' committee that i am on. we're planning on putting together a huge fitness hoopla in the spring to promote a more healthy lifestyle in our community. the statistics show that my little tiny town of about 15,000 folks has a higher percentage of overweight/obese people than the national average! diabetes is off the charts as well. i couldn't believe it. so our vision is to get the whole family involved in getting more active and eating better. i'm really excited about what it can potentially do for the residents here. i'm certain i'll talk about this more in the future, cuz it's something i'm very passionate about.
anyhoo, i plan to update the shop this evening-ish. we'll see since it's the finale of 'so you think you can dance.' i'm going to be glued to the tv between 7:00 and 9:00pm.

Oh, I love you in that blazer! So clever how you did it with the belt!
such a cool blazer!! Sometimes, when I find great things like this, I can't help but think: who could possibly get rid of this??
but, lucky for us cool people, they do, because we get them! muahaha!

your shoes are a lovely shape, i am a very big fan of the wedge heel, definitely cannot wait until summer arrives in australia!
