a new and glorious morn

coat
song of the day: 'o holy night'
this is one of my very favorite christmas songs. ah. it just warms my soul.
just thought i'd share with you my new jacket i just picked up at the thrift. it's a little sad that i'll have to leave it so soon after bringing it home. oh wait. i forgot. it's actually not sad at all. ha ha ha ha! i shouldn't rub it in that i'll be in the warmth and sunshine that is south florida because karma can easily bite me in the backside. like when i tried on this coat, i put my hands in the pockets and promptly pulled out a USED kleenex. yeah, that's right. merry christmas to me!
but anywhoooo, i will be blogging a bit while on my sojourn to the south. i don't know how often or anything, but i just know that if i don't at all, i will most definitely get the shakes. i have major withdrawal issues if you can't tell.

Yuck1 I've been a victim of Kleenex pockets as well. Not fun. But, very nice jacket.
Have fun in Florida! I'll be freezing my nose off (my nose gets soooooo cold in the winter and the only solution is to wear a balaclava--no thanks) up here!

Cute cute outfit, I love the colors and '70s style!

I guess it's not truly thrifted unless you find something in a pocket. I once found chew up bubble gum in a pocket of blue jeans I thrifted.

Have fun on your trip!

I once found $40 bucks in some $3 pants. THAT was awesome. I absolutely love you in dusty rose, too. Have a lovely time in the sunshine! Jealous. It's supposed to rain straight through this week here in "sunny" CA :(

Oh wow the colour is amazing and the coat is such a flattering cut on you - beautiful. Oh I wish I had a buck for all the times I've pulled an old tissue from a pocket! xo

love your boots. my favorite christmas song is feliz navidad. yeah its so funny sometimes the mini trash you get from a used items pocket. i often get trident gum wrappers or yes the inevitable tissue!
