matt and i had a blast over in miami for our anniversary. we were a little disappointed in the weather though. it was cloudy and just cool enough that actually going and enjoying the beach was out of the question. so we just walked along the water instead. it was still pretty amazing though. just getting away and hanging out together is perfect.

we stayed at a really cute hotel on collins ave. very old-school and simple but in a great location. we totally forgot to take a picture of it but it was called hotel eva. we had breakfast in the open air bistro downstairs and watched people go by.

thanks so much for all the sweet comments about our anniversary :) and i do want to post more pictures of our wedding. i just got one that my mother in law had and took a picture of it because i don't have any digital copies on my computer. i need to scan them in one of these days!

today is the warmest day since we've been down here and we're leaving! ugh. that's always the way, isn't it? in a few hours we'll be boarding a plane headed back to arkansas and the cold. nope, not ready at all! but i hope you all have a great new years eve! be safe out there :)
