we are back home now and i am experiencing the withdrawals that one goes through when they've spent 8 days in paradise. admittedly, i'm annoyed by the cold and dreary weather that welcomed me here, not to mention the distractions of reality............BUT i will be forever thankful for the time spent in santo domingo :)
so this is from our last day. our plane didn't leave until early evening so we got to have one last walk around the colonial district and lunch from our favorite spot. it was kinda perfect. the weather was amazing but i knew i needed to dress for chilly airports and south florida nights. this pink blouse is my absolute favorite. i wear it all. the. time. but the color is soft and romantic, the fit is easy, and i can easily pop the collar. these are wins in my book. plus, the lightweight fabric is great on a hot day and for layering in cooler temps. and these have become my favorite jeans. thrifted calvin kleins. 'nothing comes between me and my calvins' wink wink.
