all that jazz

i remember a time of my life when just about every dress in my closet was 'all that jazz.'  my hair was halfway down my back and i had a green CORDLESS phone so i could talk the night away with my friends while listening to my stereo with a 5 disc changer.  guys, i was cool.
so after a brief walk down memory lane, i walked to the register and bought this dress at salvation army for a mere $8.  which is about four bucks cheaper than what i paid for michael jackson's 'dangerous' cd that was released roughly the same year this dress was made.

i also heart wearing t-shirts with skirts lately.  especially old faded tees that are next to falling apart and then pulling on a mid length pleated granny skirt.  sorta my jam these days.
you know what else is my jam?  wearing lots of bracelets and painting my nails fun colors.  i'm such a blogger!  now if only i could start liking cats.........

i'm slowly pulling myself back together after sunday's race.  two nights this week i passed out on the couch and matt had to wake me up to go to bed, and it's like setting my armpits on fire every time i put on deodorant.  but my soreness is all but a memory and i'm even able to wear heels for short periods of time.  so to celebrate, i wore clothing and took pictures of them last night.  i dig denim.
